The challenge

The social network was a PHP monolith with jQuery. The frontend had to be modernised without a big-bang rewrite that would halt the product.

What I built

  1. 01

    Refactored the interface into a React SPA.

  2. 02

    Configured Webpack for a gradual transition on top of the PHP backend.

  3. 03

    Finally decoupled the frontend from the backend.
