The platform 150+ property managers run on every day: a desktop inside the browser with real-time multi-user collaboration.
The challenge
Managers juggle dozens of properties and several channels, and their teams edit the same bookings at the same time. They needed a tool as fast as a desktop app where nobody overwrites anybody else's work.
What I built
- 01
A desktop-style interface with windows and apps, built with React and Redux using memoized selectors (Reselect) to avoid wasted renders.
- 02
A Node.js and Express WebSocket microservice for Figma- or Google Docs-style real-time collaboration.
- 03
As Lead, I coordinated the gradual migration of the core to microservices.
